Right, here's what's going on:
- Martha WILL return to Doctor Who but not until half way through the fourth series
- Instead she will be in 3 episodes of Torchwood in the mean time.
- Kylie is going to have a "significant role" in The Voyage of the Damned (very random casting decision there)
- So until Martha returns the Doctor will have a new companion.
Sounds like its going to be a fun next year for DW and TW

Nah I think she'll be ok, especially as Donna! But I have to admit Martha was growing on me! Still want Rose back though...

So do i! i thought she was at least going to make an appearance in this series, just so we know how she was getting on on the other world!!! They arent really doing very good writing on Rose's behalf! Martha had grown on me too! She better be coming back!

I was shocked when I heard this but to be honest I think it'll be great. And it'll be nice to not have an obvious love interest. I will actually scream if R.T.D writes another 'romantic' storyline around the Doc and his companion.
Martha returns halfway through the series. Dammit. I wish she wouldn't. I don't like her. At all.

I'm still not too fond of Freema's acting...She's ok unless she's happy and then I don't like it...

She only has two facial expressions. It's boring. And Martha fell in love with the Doctor too quickly.

Yeah that annoyed me! She was like in love with him in the first ep! Didn't make sense!

Nope. It was lame. Ruffle Tea needs to get over the whole "I need to replace Rose there has to be a romantic interest thing".
Get over it.
Now.
*growls*
I wanted a male companion...I did...I do...

Everybody thinks Catherine Tate is gonna be awful! Sally Sparrow (can't remember who played her) is the suggestion everyone has said. I agree with that. Or, indeed, a male companion! He can have a male and female but it's annoying if it's always a girl!

I think she'll be great. I've said it alreayd and I'll say it again. She's gotta be better than Freema!

A male companion would be pretty cool for the doctor, he's only has 2 or 3 but its always been only for a couple shows. Micky Smith Captain Jack the blonde guy from series 2? They are the only ones i remember anyway and it was nice seeing him have someone that one of them isnt in love with the other! (exceptions for Captain Jack!) They should bring back Marc Warren and have him as his sidekick for a while! Possibly the cutest (40 yr old) guy when he cries ever! His ickle quivvering lip..... i mean em....yeah!
