I didn't cry,(makes a change, I know!) but it was so sad! I might go watch it again... I loved how Donna made him go back and save the family! I love Donna so much (and the fact she has excellent boobs has nothing to do with it. Honest.)
Tomorrow's episode looks good, yay for the return of the disgustingly awesome squids!

Oh! and I just thought I'd post about what I've heard about this series.. POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD. JUST TO WARN YOU!According to RTD (Evil Genius) there won't be an arc word this series.. but! - apparently, something the Master said about the Medusa Convention or something is going to bite us in the arse...
- Erm... the taxi pulling up outside Donna's house in PiC is a plot point...
- Oh, and I think that past companions are going to have something to do with it.. cause, apparently in the final episode, there is going to be Donna, Martha, Jack, Rose, Jackie, Mickey, Sarah Jane Smith and Sally Sparrow (From Blink. You know the creepy episode with the weeping angels? Her.)
You know, that TARDIS is gonna be cramped, even if it is bigger on the inside!!!
I have a feeling they're gonna kill Rose off in the final episode though, cause RTD tried getting rid of her in a parralell universe, and the fans made him bring her back, so I think they're gonna get rid of her. But that's just me. How awesome would it be if she came back all.... evil? Again, just me.
- And I'm just assuming here, but I think there is going to be something about the missing planets and the shadow proclamation, cause they've been mentioned in both episodes so far...
- 'She will return' in the FoP episode... was he talking about Rose? I've heard that people are speculating that he was talking about two other people beginning with R. (the Rani and Romana from Classic Who) or it could even be the Doctors daughter...
- On that subject... do you think that episode 6 'The Doctors Daughter' is going to actually be THE Doctors Daughter, or just simply A doctors daughter....
- Oh, and apparently the Doctors hand is going to be important too...but I think that it may just be a rumour...

The "disgustingly awesome squid" are Ood! I love the Ood, simply for their make up! Any Doctor Who/Torchwood alien that has so much prosthetic make up that the actor has to be lead around cose they can't see instantly rocks in my opinion! The dudes and dudettes at Millennium Effects do such an amazing job and a really cool people!

Well "The Doctor's Daughter" is going to be played by Peter Davidson's actual daughter so it could be. Interesting theories there I'll have to go back and have a look at certain parts. SPOILERS OVER |

I LOVED tonights episode, so sad, completely heartshattering- hearing the Ood's song. Loved the revenge of Ood Sigma and watching Mr Haplen turn into an Ood. Was it just me that thought that Ood Sigma was poisoning Mr Haplen earlier than it happened?? No mention of a missing planet or the shadow proclamation, although there was another mention of the dissapearence of an entire species of insect!* All in all, loving Donna (and her tits!) more than ever, and especially that scene where the Doctor was running round like crazy from the hand thingy in the holding cargo scene. Much fun. Oh, and I liked the whole Donna with her coat at the start of the episode, good reference to the first episode and how overpacked she is for every weather! (Oh, and did anyone watch that 'Try and win the kids' or whatever it was called that was on at twenty to 6? Was anyone else screaming 'THE VALIENT!!' at the screen when it was that question with the NASA space ships? and 'THE DOCTOR AND DONNA CAUSED IT TO EXPLODE!' at that Vercuvius question? Just me? Thought so. Ah, Doctor Who. How much we learn from you.) *assuming she meant the insect. She could have meant the letter. They do seem to dissapear quickly round here. (Yes. I stole that joke from the Stage. Ah well. Get over it.) |

I thought tonight's episode was aaaaaace. For many reasons. 1) Donna's breasts are fantastic 2) Tim McInnerny's one of my hero's and I love him 3) One of my friends from drama school was a rep and got killed by an Ood! 4) The Doctor is just brilliant 5) Loved the storyline with the Ood brain and the song (I cried...again...for God sake what are the DW writers trying to do to me!?) And did we catch all the little references and what do we reckon to them? Another mention of the bee's disappearing What did the Ood mean by the Doctor's song ending AND DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE ROSE'S THEME AT THAT POINT!? AAAH! Ok I need to go calm down... |

YES! I noticed Rose's theme! I half thought Rose was gonna appear in the background!! (It feels good to be able to use 'b' again! Do you realise how hard it is to not use the word 'be' or 'before' in a post?? Really... thesauruses are my friend.) and my heart stopped for a short while when they said the Doctors song will soon be ending. I thought it meant that David would be leaving! But then I realised he was signed on for the rest of the series, and all of next year too... so I calmed down..... he IS signed on for next year too, isn't he?? Oh.. and...
