Yesterday... (18.09.07)...er...BASICALLY.
My friend Suzy and I had been joking around saying we should go 'YAAAAAAY' when Rod announces he was gay.
But I thought, ah someone must have done it before, its not a very origianl idea... but when it came to it, we were like... 'do it do it, c'mon we might as well...'
'I Rod...am GAY.'
*the room was totally silent* 'YAAAAAAAAAY'
*perfect timing, perfect pitch*
The audience laughed, then...Jons trying not to laugh...Simon...Simon is looking at the floor shaking with laughter...didn't know it was going to have that effect...
20 seconds later...still laughing...Jon gets up, adds a line 'you ok buddy' they carry on through laughter...
when the bad idea bears come back on to talk about scientology...their final 'yaaay' seemed more a 'yay' and it stopped.... oops.!
BUT we apologised afterwards at the stage door...and they found it funny... *phew*

Oh god. I had the idea of shouting 'FINALLY!' when Rod comes out in Dec..but..I'd be SO embarrased if they burst out laughing, and I'm front row center too...

hahaa, I was row Q...and it was loud enough....I SO didn't know that reaction was guna happen!! I thought maybe a giggle or like...the puppet looking round, but I had NO idea Simon was gunna crack up like that!!!
We DID apologise...and Simon DID tell me to shut up because I kept apologising.
But still its like...GOD I had no idea what was going to happen!!
Oops.!

Tehehe! I've done similar. Me and two friends gave Rod/Jon a standing ovation at the end of My Girfriend who Lives In Canada. Don't think he saw.

My friend and I are SO tempted to do it again dec first...
We were like...row Q...and I think it echoed....coz it was louder than I had EVER heard me do it before.

We were row A of the stalls back on 29th august. There were times when I'd catch Simon's eye and one of us would be really serious and the other would grin insanely untill the other twitched a tiny smile in a serious moment. Always fun!

I love it.
Thing is...I think my friend is getting more and more obsessed with Avenue Q...slowly...she seems to want to go more than once a month...and I think shes going to end up trying to do at least once a month until december...its her birthday in Novemer so she wants to go then...and its slowly....more and more....whenever shes free shes trying to get me to go as well....

But shes getting worse than me...I have created...an Avenue Q...monster... BUT the more people the better...she also told Jon she needed the toilet.....  So he thought he would pretend to need to loo too. x |
