We'll be sad together Abbie. I'm dying to know what this actually IS and if they are taking puppets! It was bad enough missing out on the Luurvefest...

Is anyone actually going to this? I'm thinking about it... I finish work at 8 that day and I'm not working the next, so I figure, why not? but it depends how tired I am! cos I have a 10hr shift :/ I think I'll decide last minute on the day...

Well how funny was this? ;D
The theatre was tiny: probably only about 30-40 people? The first half was just Tim as Mary and her pianist, which was hilarious on it's own, with songs like "The Pope and I" (a la The Wizard and I) and the "Sun Has Got His Hat On".
The second half of the show had Jon w/ Rod and Simon w/ Nicky who stayed in character throughout the rest of the show. From what we could tell it was all completely unscripted. The singalong songs were "Under the Sea" and "Hakuna Matata" and "You Can't Stop the Beat".
Lots of audience participation and stuff...
Um. Now I'm lost. Nicky/Simon's teridactel (sp?) impression is priceless.
Random fact of the evening: Simon is far too tall to sit on a bean bag comfortably.

Don't ask!!) and do I want to know about the pteridactal impression??? And I totally gigglesnorted at the mental image of Simon trying-and failing- to sit on a bean bag. Lol. SO wish I had gone to this!!
