FULL CAST! Which we are starting to realise was actually quite lucky, given the casts tendancy to take days off all over the place.

We were row A. An absoloute PERFECT spot, although we're even more excited about our row AA seats in a few weeks. We don't mind about the dry ice, if the cast can sing in it, we can certainly sit and watch in it.

The other audience members were... irritating to say the least. We had a group of teenagers behind us talking constantly and when we cheered the first time Nicky came onto stage the woman next to me turned round and asked, "I take it you know her?" referring to Clare. As to which I grinned manically, (the poor woman) and replied, "NO! I'm a Nicky fan." she clearly didn't understand.

We actually had quite a few funny/cute moments happen on this occasion, two of which happened during Fantasies Come True. Firstly, the beds jetted off but must have broken, showering Simon with white power which he brushed from his hair, not with his free arm but instead with Nicky's hand. The entire time that Princeton and Kate were in darkness, we could clearly see them having a chat. In Wicked when the cast chat on stage, they're saying things like "You're perfect," they stay in character. Whereas Jon and Julie were clearly talking about something completely irrelevant. And then as the lights came back up on them, Jon (who must have had a sweet in his mouth or something.) Spat something into his hand, took Princetons bed covers and wiped his tongue quite grotesquely. Funny, but kind of gross.

Before we saw the show we had reservations as to what Naoko would be like as Christmas Eve. After seeing her we LOVE her.

I loved the Simon/hair thing! Erm...you said it all! Oh, Julie fluffed up her voices a little, don't remember which Lucy line it was, but she said it like Kate.

What I really loved was eye-contact from the cast! They seem to look right at you really often (particularly Simon), especially at funny bits and it makes them funnier somehow.

We stage-doored too, and they were supah-lovely. Clare said "I don't do much" and we were trying to tell her how good her faces were and she just said "but I'm getting wrinkles!" Simon was really nice and introduced himself (like we needed it!).

and muahahaha at people asking if you know the cast members. happens to me all the time.

just out of curiosity... you wouldn't have signed the Starbucks guestbook on St Martin's Lane would you?

Oh and I'm not sure if they do this all the time but during For Now, they pointed at Simon in the 'Your hair, is only for now.' line. That was kind of cute.

We did! Telling everybody that we were going to Avenue Q! That's insane that you read it.

You read it! That is amazing! The first one in Feb or the one in May that I did? (you weren't there Bean but I mentioned Archies...)

Oh and there was a foolish boy at the stage door. "Dude, I saw you in America. You were in Avenue Q there." Simon's reaction was classic. "I have never been to America."

I sign that thing every time I go to that Starbucks, which is often there's silly messages from me all over the place!!

But the message I read didn't mention Q, only it mentioned worms and monsters so I was like "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Wow. I'm completely amazed that you made the connection, we've only been here 5 minutes and we're being recognised! When we go again, I'm going to look for your messages!

(What makes this funnier is that Simon clearly has been to America!)

First he was like "No no that wasn't me..." but the boy wouldn't have it. "It WAS you" So that's when he claimed to have never been. I guess he doesn't enjoy being confused with Rick Lyon...as shown is the AQF.com interview!

And the fact he's been to America numerous times according to the interview! Can imagine it... love it! ;D

We also wondered who on earth the strange man was hovering around the stage door asking when Julie was going to be out. We realised later on (after we had finished freaking out about how good the show was) that it was in actual fact. Gabriel Vick.
