OH! apparently it's my turn to do the honours and open a thread!?

ok... so, tonight was a great show! I liked it better than last night's! I really enjoyed Gabriel and didn't think he messed up his voices at all tonight!! I especially loved his Rod cos he kept, um... the same amount of camp-ness throughout the whole thing?
(forgive my vocabulary tonight... I'm a bit meh!)

I like how Gabriel acts some bits differently than Jon. His "Closer, but still no!" works a lot better than Jon's IMO. But his "ahahahah.... ohhh shit" to Christmas Eve doesn't cos he seems too angry! These are just random opinions!

I'll try and say stuff that I noticed in order...
- I think Simon busted us immediately in It sucks to be me. I feel so embarrassed every time! I missed the front row, but when they stare I really don't know where to look anymore!
- no Trekkie eyebrow during Porn! boo!
- Simon added in a lot of whooping and cheering when Lucy the slut came in which we found hilarious!!
- Julie added in a lot of little new faces too. I don't remember where they were but I love them!
- Apparently Julie was worming again during Loud as the hell. I was looking somewhere else There was also new bad idea bear cheering at the cafe scene. They just go on waving their arms about for longer than usual. And don't get me started on the rope
- Sion went straight for us in the Money song. I knew he would but I had nothing to give them tonight, and no high fives, boo He gave the hat to the person behind us and she was just holding it and I turned around and I was saying "PASS IT ALONG!", I went a bit OTT there!
Giles was also talking to us from the stage, saying "BUT YOU'RE THE FRONT!!!!!!!!!"
I'm bringing chocolates on 2nd June and I'll put them in Giles' hat, that's it!

The best bit was the end. Standing ovation. We were debating at the interval whether to do it or not, Elle + friends stood up immediately (oh btw Elle'll have to tell the story of how she decided to upgrade at the last minute and managed to get the seat right in between us and her other friends. if that's not luck...), Chiara stood up at some indefinite point and I stood up for Clare, of course
And then spent the rest of curtain call trying to drag my sister up! When I turned around I realized almost everybody in the stalls was standing up which was SO COOL!

post-show stagedoor was nice but of all people I didn't get to speak to Gabriel who is the one I had originally planned to go for. Meh. He had some friends there, who I think went to dinner with the lot of them. I'll myspace message him or something to say thanks for the show!

PS: Elle. I saw the picture on Chiara's camera. She HID THE UMBRELLA. She hid it!! how dorky muahahahahahaha!!!

Sounds like you had a great time! I always squirm when a cast member clocks me. My friend i went with last found the looking at me hillarious, but I just turn red and have to look away! Bit too close for comfort.... x

How's this for embarrassing then? Trekkie's internet is for porn normal people thing, looking right at me and doing the nod... I could have died! I think I did a little bit! I just nodded and shrugged my shoulders and Trekkie/Simon was like 'ok'...

But yeah, great show! I think I preffered Fri in terms of extra cast bits and audience. But then Gabe was very very good on Sat and they did a few little extras... Clare and Simon kept prolonging a lot of their bad idea bears lines, which was hilarious!

I think i snorted about ten times during the show and that was thanks to the absolutely hilarious and stupid group of girls behind us! Let's see...
During Schadenfreude.. it goes deadly silent when one of them is obviously finishing a comment to her friend and all I hear is 'I'd do him.' So funny!
Oh and then just before purpose when Garry is like 'rearrange the letters in unemployed and they spell opportunity.' and one of the girls is like 'Does it? I never knew that!' that was worth three snort!laughs alone!
And then when Lucy is.. fondling herself after the one night stand one of them's like 'what's that? (twenty seconds later) Oh... a boob!'
I swear, every show needs a group like that!
It was them that started the ovation though so good on them. I was about to ask Lou when we were standing when one of the girls goes was like 'I'm gonna stand. Let's stand!' So I did, and the rest of them followed! So good! Seriously, that show needs more standing ovations.

SD was awful! It was quiet except for us and I kind of got thrust into Simon (who smells far too good for someone who smokes like a chimney!) and had one of the worst photos ever! I'm just about to burst out laughing, not attractive!
Gabe was really sweet though.. calling me cheap for not having a programme and refusing to believe that I had one at home that i'd forgotten. 'It's only £3.50!'
Oh and Clare and her Mary Poppins umbrella... bless, she's so cute! But I so need to see the picture before you post it, I think I was talking or something... I need to go get the photo's re-done so I'm actually just smiling!

I've read so many comments about Simon's smell, I'm going to be tempted to go to the stagedoor and just sniff at him next week, to see what all the fuss is about! Nice to hear you had a good audience, when we went they were really...wierd.

One of the best singers I've ever heard smokes at least as much as Simon, probably considerably more, has probably been doing this for nearly as many years as Simon has been alive, and his voice is beautiful, still.

shes right- the smoking makes me sad (julie had a pack on friday too) but its up to them...*sobs* this is heartbreaking (literally mwah hah) revising smoking for biology and all the various diseases and things im like MAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Oh god, yes totally. His choice and everything. It's just I'd be too scared to chance it...

Saying that, my Dad's mates a principal tenor at the ENO and he smokes like a chimney... Maybe it doesn't effect everyone in the same way...

Glad to hear they got a well deserved standing ovation though. I'm never brave enough to start one in case I'm the only one standing. I'm not keen on attention... x

I love standing ovations! They're fun! As is starting them
