Please use this thread for reviews of the Dress Circle evening.
I've just got home and am too knackered to do a proper review right now but just wanted to say I had a fantastic time at my 5th show, and I've finally met Jon and Simon! YAY!

It was a great night. I spent far too much money in DC, but there was free champagne and cake, and Royal Circle seats, so it's all good... The show was cool as usual, nothing particularly outstanding to mention but it was my first time seeing Mary and Delroy. I thought they were both pretty good, Mary doesn't look like she's completely into the role yet but you can see she is going to get better. Delroy is great, a brilliant singer, and his height (or lack of) makes the Gary Coleman joke funnier, which is a nice little extra touch to laugh at, my only criticism is that he didn't do the second 'alright' in Racist. And then afterwards.. Well now. It was excellent meeting Trekkie, Rod, Kate and Yellow Bear, and definitely very interesting to see the new bear up close, but I think the older bears looked better. It was disappointingly short though, the entire post-show bit lasted a maximum of 20 minutes, and the puppets had been taken away one by one so Kate was only out for about 8 minutes. It was a good time and for £30 I definitely can't complain... Yay. I'm happy as a sandbag. Edit: I've got my photos online now, there's a couple of random ones of the London Eye and setting up WEL but excuse those and enjoy the ones from the event... >Clicky!

Fantastic show. Best I've seen Simon I think...he was on fire! Very strange seeing the new cast but I thought they were fab. You can tell Mary's going to be fantastic, and I adored Delroy as Gary. I'm not sure about Jennifer as Christmas Eve. In some parts she was absolutely fantastic, but at other times I could barely understand a word she was saying, which is a shame. But I think she's going to grow into the role and be fab too. There aren't any real highlights from the show...it was just really fantastic. I haven't seen it for a couple of months so I really enjoyed being back My mum who was seeing the show for the first time absolutely adored it. She was crying with laughter during TIIFP...the ultra long pause and Julie's ad-libbed "What?" made me laugh a lot. I was a little disappointed by the aftershow thing. Too many people and too little time. I literally got 30 seconds with Jon and Simon, and all the others had left. But it was still fun, and as Hurri said for £30 you can't complain! Oh and how amazing with the standing ovation in the circle? That was so cool....

The show was great, the pause in TIIFP was brilliant! We spent most of out time laughing at the guy sat in front of us though who was clearly a Q virgin. As for the meet the puppets thing, it was a total mobfest, we stayed well back and didn't speak to any of them... it was, as Jenno says, lots of people and not a lot of time, we figured we see the cast often and have more opportunity to talk with them that the vast majority of fans so let those who don't usually get a chance to have more time. Seats were good though. Especially as I made the manager of Dress Circle swap with us

Yeah the seats were fab, bit strange being sat up in the circle though, only ever been in the stalls before (not complaining!) I'll just have to go to the SD next time I go so I can actually speak to them, didn't get a chance to see Julie at all...but as I said...still got to meet Simon and Jon

I've put photos up on my Facebook and Myspace now. There's more on Facebook. I thought last night was an all new hight in hystericaly funny. They had so much more bounce than last time. How randy was Trekkie?! And did anyone els hear Simon wack his arm as he ran out of one of the doors? I can't remeber when it was but I'm sure he had Trekkie.
I absolutly adored the reception afterwards. I've never laughed so much! Jon, if you read this, I don't know what was going on in my head but it was hillarius and I could have done with the luxury loo roll too! And Delroy was so sweet about my Muppet's Guide. I'm so pleased he liked it and said he'd put it out for all the cast to read.
I should explain that loo roll thing. When I asked Simon, Jon and Delroy (I didn't get a chance to ask the others) to sign my book I also asked for them to write their purpose. Jon's is to find a toilet with luxury loo roll. Classic!

I enjoyed this show so much. I got to see Lucy eat the note . The after reception was great, be upsetting the puppets didnt stay longer. Got pictures with Trekkie and Yellow BiB. Just as i asked for one with Rod they took him away. It was a fun night although i felt kind of rough and was kind of dozy in the show. The Dress Circle thing was a laugh. We thought te cake was for us but it was somebodies birthday but we got cake and bucksfizz anyway. And also: I'm as happy as a sandbag for Going lol.

Thought I'd add my thoughts although they are much the same as a lot of people have already said. The show was fantastic as usual -must say that I particularly enjoyed simon's performance. Thought he was very on form last night. Wasn't sure about Mary initially but I warmed to her during TIIFP and thought she did a very good Mrs Thistletwat. The fact that Simon couldn't carry on for ages after getting heckled in TIIFP was very funny too!
Again, thought that the drinks reception aftewards was just far too crowded. They sold too many tickets for the space and it meant that the puppets just got mobbed and noone could really talk to them for that long - felt very sorry for all of them actually. Jon in particular looked quite tired and was rubbing his arm after Rod got taken away.
Made the mistake of thinking that they would actually stick around awhile and spent most of the time chatting to Sion and Jennifer at the bar. Then by the time we got around to deciding we would join the crowds Julie had gone, Rod was just getting taken away and we had to rush to get a couple of pics in with Trekkie before he ran off too. So felt a bit of a rush which was disappointing. Still, I am glad I went.
Have given Kaz our pics for the fan site so you can see them there when they've been uploaded.

Sounds like alot of the cast were at the Spamalot MidKnight Matinee... so that may explain them leaving so promptly...

That would also explain why I saw Jon going in that direction with his girlfriend. Don't quote me on the girlfriend thing. They were holding hands and looked like a couple. Ggrrrrr!
