I received my Ave Q furry Orange book today from Amazon. I dread to open the plastic as the Orange fir will go everywhere Is it really true about hoovering the cover? Has anyone actually tried doing that?

I hoovered my book today with 3 different pipe ends and it was a dyson so pretty strong. It's still moulting slightly and my hoover has orange fur in it (which shows it did some good) I was hoping it would stop the moulting completely

I brush mine occationaly. Just for special occations like going to see the show. It'll still malt all over my bag and probably all over the cast. They must love us and our malting furry books! Speaking of the mechanize malting, my best friend is convinced Trekkie shed lots of fur on my hat. I think that's just her best explanation for finding pink fluff all over the inside.

The people that work at the factory where they make the books must go home covered in Orange fur ;D

Am considering getting the book on saturday You can only buy the book from Dress Circle (shop near Covent Garden) or on the internet (which is cheaper than DC). I bought mine from Amazon. I had an idea today - I bought from Rymans that clear film type wrapping paper that one used to put on School text books - I'm going to try and wrap the book in this - that will def stop moulting and I will still be able to see the fur Edit: The plastic sticky cover works - no more moulting - my Dad helped me put it on - eventhough he told me "more junk" as he thinks it's a waste of money

My Q pen ran out... so I had to get out my spare one! So... I have two pens (my old one which just died has no writing on any more), the furry book, 2 big programmes and old little one, the set of badges with "it sucks to be me", and the SHOT GLASSES! Why does no one else have these?! I always take my pen to lectures and flick the furry ball, and I usually end up flicking the whole pen forward a few rows... everyone has got used to me now, I think! But the fur isn't as nice on my new pen It's less soft and fluffy and more shiny and matted. I'm disappointed. I may have to get another.
