Eep! I'm a little scared now! But then again...I haven't done that many ammateur productions cause I'm still only doing my A-Levels...As for RADA...I think I'd be a little nervous if I got asked those types of questions! The technical stuff isn't too bad...it's all the writers!

Thankyou so so so much for answering all those questions! I'm very intimidated now though... I've already started to prepare so I don't have a last minute rush - so hopefully it'll be ok! On a brighter note, we're going down the night before so I can go and see a show (might as well make the most of being in London!)
If you don't mind me asking, on a more practical note, is it really expensive to live in London? Can you get alright accommodation on a budget? I've heard so many horror stories about trying to find accommodation in London...

Don't panic! The whole point is that you are there to learn - they don't want people who know it all already! I would get loads of work experience, even if its just watching professional fit-ups because insurance won't let you join in, it's better than not having any.
Going to see a show is a great idea because they always ask that! I had been to see Equus the night before which gave us loads to talk about.
I'm not the best person to ask about living in london because I commute from home. I have already completed a degree so have no student loan to use. This means I have to commute otherwise I couldn't afford to go. My sis, however, is living in london and in Marble Arch (west end of oxford street). She shares a 4 bed house and her monthly rent, which includes all her bills (water, electricity, gas, internet) is £520 per month. I know people who pay anything from £105-180 a week. It just depends wher eyou wanna live, what you want included etc. If you get to a good school though they often help you a lot! Most offer great support on finding you accomodation. RADA I know let you stay with an ex-student for virtually nothing whilst you find alternative accomodation if you get right down to the wire and still haven't found somewhere to live as well as helping you out with bursaries if you can't afford to eat etc. They have great pastoral care.
If any of you are about in London, wanna chat to some people on my course about living etc. and want a tour of RADA then I don't mind meeting up with you. Feel free to PM me and we can sort something out.
and DON'T PANIC! I'm sure you'll all do fine considering you're thinking about this and planning this quite far ahead. x

Woo! Central! Just be relaxed and very confident. And enjoy it. Interivews and auditions are, in my experience, fantastic experiences. So have fun and good luck

i was wondering if you could judge these two songs for me please - they're only recorded on basic equipment and a quick song along - rather than a big performance - and im a bit close to the mic and also in "in la" im playing the piano (only basically) and i do make a couple of mistakes sorry but anyway - media.putfile.com/Soon-as-I-get-home-48 - (an edited version of) Soon as I get Home from The Wiz (my note on "afraid" isn't the best but ...) media.putfile.com/IN-LA-96 - (an edited version of) In LA from Fame (at the end it distorts a little...) Also the audio's have given me a sort of lisp which i don't actually have i think it's the mic because when ive done other recordings on other things it's not there so... Also, i have to sing one accapella at one audiion - any suggestion as to which one? If you can give me feedback ASAP it'd be really really appreciated.

Good luck for Central! I had my Central interview today for Stage Management. It's really relaxed and everyone was lovely. I'm sure you'll do fine!
Thanks again for the advice Flump!
