PAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! oh man.... i went to see this on saturday night... (got complimentary tickets XD)
wow... this is FUNNY. theres this dude in a chair dressed allll in brown (played by Bob Martin) at the beggining.. and ALLL throughout.. and he tells the story... BUT he does it as if hes playing the soundtrack to us, and he like.. stops it in some parts to explain bits.. (a bit like me with Q Virgins) and he gets realy over excited about some parts... which i just found hilarious. he'd be like.. "i was browsing through my records.... yes... records..." and the audience would just crack up laughing!
reeeaallyyy catchy music, an AMAZING set, and an extremely bendy girl who plays Janet Van de Graft... (real name is Summer... she was so sweet to me at stage door.)
Aldolpho was an amazing character... you think Clare Foseter has a quiff? she aint got nothing on this dude! haha!
i loved the "interval" .... there wasnt one.. instead it was 15 minutes of "Man In Chair" talking about how much he hates intervals cos they ruin the moment... very very funny.
so if you wanna see a show that has folding beds... a humongous plane coming down from the ceiling...to short pastry chefs called the Tall Brothers and a girl who is as bendy as a cheese string (and a FANTASTIC tap routine)
