I applied MONTHS ago and still haven't heard anything!
One of my fellow stage managers from Uni went though and had a great time. He didn't do a lot of hands on stuff, just shadowed everyone. Sat up with the DSM etc.

Ooo! Sounds like great fun! That's annoying that they didn't even respond to you. Even if it is to say, not right now... hmmm... Who did you send your letter to? X

Yea, my friend Christina, worked there for work Ex, I think she just was an usher thing, but I'll ask.
I've just asked, she did booking in the first act (Lighting cues and shit, etc.) and props the second act (Like putting Kate's scarf on the puppet) so I'll see if that's what I can do next year when my school does work exp.

I'll see if that's what I can do next year when my school does work exp. As far as I know theatres don't take on anyone for work experience who is under 18 because of health and safety issues.... and Jenno, you did work experience at Wicked so I don't think you can complain!

Oh! I want to work there for work ex He he he .....oh come on! You only want to work there for a certain someone! That's not true...ahem...well it may be the reason I want to work at that theatre but hey! Lol! I wanna work in theatre design anyway so it would be good for work ex But if they don't take people under 18 I'd have to wait until my last year of 6th form... Jenno, you did work ex at Wicked! That is awsome!!!

West End theatres don't take anyone on work experience if you're under 18 years of age. It's against health and safety regulations.
And I haven't done work ex at Wicked yet, I had to cancel due to some personal issues.

It took me two years to convince a WE theatre to take me, then once they'd said yes they backed out. I won't mention the production...but Wicked will be my first time backstage in the WE and I'm excited.
Q would also be amazing though... ...my friend has done Q, Guys and Dolls and Wicked...he keeps getting offered work ex...lucky git.
