...my friend has done Q, Guys and Dolls and Wicked...he keeps getting offered work ex...lucky git. Is the technical side of theatre sexist then, or is he just lucky? What's the male-female balance like on your course?

He's just lucky that everywhere's getting back to him so quickly.
Out of the 15 people on the SM course in my year he's one of two boys. The rest of us are aaaalll ladies.

I bet it would be groovy to do Work experience on wicked. Just because the tech stuff is very impressive! I can't believe how many ladies are coming through SM courses though. Go girlies! Who said it was a mans world, eh?! However, I want a few boys on my course when I start in Sept...

Yeah, Wicked's the best show technical wise. However, Q's just so much fun

I sent my letter for work ex off on April the first. I know that cose it my first whole day off of 2007, man did I sleep like a cat that day! anyhoo going back to what we were saying. I also wrote for work ex at Phantom for my Theatrical Make Up assignment over a year ago at college. Still haven't heard back but I did get a double distinction for my researching! We had to research the make up of a character of our choice. Being obssesed with prosthetics, Phantom and that jazz I had to pick theatres most famous prothetics covered character!
