whee, am I first? I thought Mischa would've posted by now

What can I say, I loved the show. It was so... different! Everyone in the audience really cared, they made loads of noise. Each cast member got huge applause as they came on stage! I'm thinking most people in the audience were actors from other shows. Matt Henry especially seemed to have quite a big fanbase/friendbase last night

Here I was thinking I'd have to restrain myself from shouting and doing the dance routines, instead we went completely wild! I don't think I've ever shouted so much at a Q The theatre was packed, the cast got a standing ovation at the end. I am so happy for them, they deserve it. The last few times I've been it wasn't too crowded and they'd had to close not just the balcony but also the Grand Circle.

Matt was on for Giles, and Yanle for Naoko. It was my first time seeing Yanle, I quite liked her take on the character. More similar to Ann's than Naoko's. I could buy her young Christmas Eve, she did a good job.

At intermission I talked to Mischa, mainly about Wicked (LOL) and about Clare as Kate. Sorry Mischa, I ramble about Clare a lot. After the show we had no idea if the actors were having drinks or what, so we took a long time to decide. We went to the stage door and passed by Matt and Gloria who'd already come out, no one was waiting at SD except for two girls who wanted autographs and two friends of Clare's. Mischa and our mutual friend Debra from the Wicked fandom caught up with us after a few minutes.
Mischa surprised us by snapping a picture of us with Clare (which I am dying to see now!) and he also took one of Julie, who was rushing - I saw her stop for those two girls but I was talking to Clare and didn't get to say hello. I'm hoping they come out well since Mischa takes the BEST stagedoor pictures usually.

I had a really great time and I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time with some of the people I knew like Mischa and Debra. But there will be other times! Next time we go to a Q together I'll try and introduce you to everyone Then you can take some more amazing pics (oh, and please come to Wicked Saturday! I was kinda hoping your wonder-camera would snap a pic of me with Kerry! )

Ha ha. I overslept this morning, that's why you beat me to it. Anyway you summed up the evening perfectly. It was an excellent show and I love how the audience really shows their appriciation for this fantastic show. We were all on FIRE ;D ;D ;D I'm sorry that I don't know so much about the understudies but I really liked Gary and Christmas Eve, they were excellent. And Clare was awesome, I took extra time watching her different face expressions, she is so funny ;D. But I think that Simon is my favourite. Am I the only one who think he resembles Will from Will & Grace, a little bit anyway Erik Mc something or whatever his name is???

The pictures are coming right up, sorry I was stressed so they are not that great but I like the one with you guys and Clare. The one with Julie could have been better.

Last night was awesome ;D Even if I did have to wait around for half an hour for my taxi to show up afterwards Best audience I've ever had at a Q show anyway!

BTW, love your pictures ;D I was to scared to ask for pictures!
