Ok review time, but I'm not paticularly good at these. The cast board at the entrance had me under the impression that Naoko would be off but she arrived on stage so I was happy enough with that ;D I took my flatmate to whom I've been quoting Avenue Q, at appropriate times - such as pushing the lyrics to 'For Now' under her door when she was stressing over an essay due the next day - and she LOVED it. We have a convert people! She believes the Bad Idea Bears exist in her life The only thing I can slightly knock about the show was that some parts of "You Can Be As Loud..." seemed a little rushed and if I hadn't known what was actually said beforehand, don't think I would of worked it out. We originally had seats in Row P and the view although good of the overall stage was a bit too far away to see the puppeteers facial expressions, which is half of what makes the show so funny/entertaining. At the interval, the house manager allowed us to move to two empty seats on the end of Row F and I found myself enjoying and appreciating the second half much more. In "The Money Song" I put a shed load of coppers (which I had readily prepared hehe) into Nicky(Claire)'s hat much to her surprise and double high fived Sion - needless to say my friend didn't know what was coming, he went to high five her, she had no idea what was going on and he ended up just hitting her about the head. I'm rather fond of Simon's new haircut but that's just me Sadly no stage dooring My friend isn't really a theatregoer or fan so didn't think she'd appreciate it. I will get pictures with the cast one day!!

Glad you had a good time at the show, Karrie. What do we reckon are the chances of getting full cast next week?

Am hoping there will be some kind of opportunity for 'stage dooring' tonight at Luurvefest. Cross your fingers!
