Aceeeeeeeeee show tonight!
First off...
FULL CAST
*crazy puppet nod*
Very lively audience, lots of laughing and clapping, AND THE IS HER NAME PURPOSE LINE GOT A REACTION THIS TIIIIIIIME!!
Cast were full of energy, though it sounds like Jon's got a bit of a sore throat? He was still fantastic anywho.
Of course Simon got loads of laughs as Trekkie and Bad Idea Bear.
Julie was fantastic as Kate, her "Fine, Fine Line" was the best I've ever heard it sung. Really fantastic.
Sion and Naoko are a brilliant pairing. She's hillarious, her baby bird line makes me die of laughter. Her facial expressions are ace. Tonight I realised just how much I like Sion's singing voice, so much warmth to it.
Clare's just brilliant.
Funny bits...
Trekkie's pause in "...For Porn" before saying "you have no idea" was really long and Simon kept looking out to the audience and pulling all these great faces which made the audience really laugh.
The yellow Bad Idea Bear broke after "see you around Princeton!"
Jon and Julie got a serious case of the giggles during "As Loud As The Hell..."
And now for the best bit...the money song. Before the show me and my friend bought mini chocolate easter eggs to put in the hat. So when the time came my friend got up and put the bag of sweets in the hat that Giles has with him on stage. Cue 5 minutes of hysterical laughter as he looked at it then back at us constantly with this "WHAT.THE.FUCK" look on his face. It was actually him constantly looking at us whilst he was giggling that made me laugh so much. It was brilliant. When Sion got back on stage he looked in the hat and was like "oh wow!" then licked his lips, cue Giles laughing some more. Giles was going to do an ad lib because he pointed at us and was about to say something but the other didn't know what had happened so just carried on.
Aaaaaaah it was so funny. My sides are still aching.
Fantastic show though, great performances from everyone. Such a shame that's the last time I'll see Naoko though, I absolutely adore her she's great.
No stage door, although we walked past and Simon was out signing. I had to be pulled away...
NEXT TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!
So yes...good show...me sleepy now...
