This is going to be one of those where just throw information at you....
We had a full cast again! All were really good, but Jon especially stood out last night, just his presence on stage and he seemed to be having a great time. Giles stood out too actually.
The show was great, but the audience was so, so strange -they laughed throughout Kate's letter to Princeton but not at things that are actually funny. They seemed to love Simon though. And lots of people gave a standing ovation!
We had a few things go wrong. Jon and Simon got the giggles and Simon tried first to hide behind his puppet and then Nicky's (taped together!) book. And when Jennifer (who I'm afraid I did not like one bit, more on that in a minute) slammed the door after kicking Nicky out the lightbulb fell down and the cast just stared at each other trying not to laugh too much, but in the end couldn't help it!
Jennifer: is too young. And you can't understand a word she's saying. And she's just not funny. Sorry.
Julie's Fine Fine Line was even better than last time and it blew us away.
Simon did things he didn't last time. He kept making strange sounds as Trekkie that he didn't do last time, and he said "ow" and kissed his paw when Kate Monster hit him in Internet. He also drooled on his own leg (quite alot) during Special. I'd not noticed that before!
Erm...Bean can carry on. Can't think what else I can tell you!

How cool!! I love bloopers lol!! I know I'm gonna laugh when I see that book, I can feel it! When did Jon and Simon get the giggles anyways? And why?! Lol!! I quite like Jennifer! Will always prefer Naoko I think, but still, I thought she was pretty good a lot of the time. I love Simon's Trekkie as well! So cute!!

- Jon was ON FIRE! Crazily hyper and really really good.
- Jennifer was indeed terrible. She didn't quite seem to know what she was doing and didn't seem to have quite the same connection with the cast that Naoko had.
- Julie's voice seems a lot more controlled now, especially in Mix Tape.
- The sound effects in Life Outside Your Apartment weren't working. So they compensated by Simon making "Brrrr!" noises and Sion going, "She's gonna jump! Don't do it! She didn't!"
- Noticed for the first time what Giles is doing in the window during The Internet is for Porn. Was insanely disturbed by it.
- They started five minutes late, so the first bit seemed quite rushed.
- Clare didn't do the Trekkie eyebrow!!
I'll edit when I think of more. We wanted to start an 'OUT' chant because the people behind us just would NOT shut up! We sat on row A in the middle and although we didn't get as much eye contact as Row B stage right it was definately better because we caught every single thing they did this time.

Lol! How funny! I wanna see that now! Lol! Bless him...they're a good cast! There must be a number of shows in which people tend to panic in cases like that...hmm...

Maybe the only reason I could understand her was because I knew what she was saying anyway? :S

I agree with you Abbie, I think her diction is not quite spot on yet. To be honest I think Naoko had the same problem at times, but I wouldn't pay attention to it because I know all the lines anyway. Ann had the best diction I think but then again she'd also been doing it the longest

Yeah again, I agree with you Manu. I always prefered Naoko anyway though I think...Something about her was just so unique. She was great! But like you said in one of your reviews Manu. she doesn't half throw her high kick at the end of Racist! Lol!

in jenifers defence.... i really like the way she mixes up her l's and r's// she has that spot on in my opinion.. BUT i do prefer Naoko's aggressiveness as xmas eve. like the but.. *YOU!!!!!1 GO GET JOB!!!!* Jenifer is very light with this.. whereas Naoko had... CONTROL over the relationship.. but dont forget... she not long started.. give her a couple months. SIMON making sound affects!!!! hahaha!!!! i WISH i was there!!!!!!!!!!

I think a problem with the last two Christmas Eves was their timing. Not so much the "you! go get job" line but the "get a job" one after I'm not wearing underwear today. Sometimes they don't quite wait for the applause to finish and the line goes completely unheard by most of the audience. I think that's silly to be honest. Also cos that scene is so random - you never know whether the audience is going to clap for Brian or not.
