I went to today's matinne. This is my third time seeing the show. I sat in the front row again.
Beforehand I waited outside stage door and when Simon arrived I gave him an envelope which contained pictures I drew of Nicky, Preston and Julie so that they can sign them and send them to me. When I said to Simon "Can I please give you this", he said of course.
Jon wasn't on today
it was his understudy Simon. He was very good but it's not the same without Jon to stare at. Not sure if he is on holiday or off sick.
Christmas Eve was also the understudy. I prefered her to the usual actress.
Simon was laughing a couple of times. The first was when he pulled the rope down for the Monster school. The 2nd was near the end when Gary smiles and holds a winking pose, there was some sort of noise and Simon couldn't stop laughing, even when he had his back to the audience you could see he was laughing as he was shaking.
Was excellent again and can't wait to go in November and December.

I've heard Yanhle is really good acutally! WOuld love to see her...Glad you had a good nigt though danni
