Anyone know if there is one?
I've been running an actors official website for about 6 years now, and have done other little ones here and there, so have been toying with the idea for a while.
Any thoughts?

Only that if it's going to be done, make sure it's always up-to-date etc - nothing looks worse for an organisation / individual / business than an outdated and inaccurate website!

lol, i recommend against it (and I only teach 8 hours a week - so allegedly only get about 1/4 of the stress. ha!) We've been awaiting this visit for well over a year, but when we got the news today the atmosphere still changed instantly for the worse. I teach my worst groups on Thursdays too, damnit, so if I get observed it might not be at my best (but luckily don't teach at all on Wednesdays, so that's safety for at least half of the inspection).
More seriously though, it IS really rewarding most of the time... I actually wish I was a qualified teacher...
Anyway, best get back on topic before Jen kills me...

Looks good! Being slightly picky the Fan site 'title' that appears at the top of the web browser is misspelt as Siite. Also, you might want to check out copyright having used the production pics etc..... I would also try and see whether you can get anything 'exclusive' like interviews, webchats etc that would draw people to the site! And maybe a stage door pics section?!

As the site says it's still under construction I'm just showing you guys at the moment whilst I'm in planning stages before I buy a domain name and some extra webspace as I'm using the account from my other website at the moment. Still a work in progress! I'll change the title bar now. Thanks. Stage door pics section is there, it just needs pictures sending in for it As for copyrighted production pics, I have some info on this from my other site where I had to get permission to use clips from television and films before they were released. It has some stuff on pics so I'll sort that out over the next week too. As for exclusive stuff, I'll get the main content up first and then starting thinking about that. Would be good but not sure how i'd approach it though! |
