Just thought I'd say "hi" to everyone. I have heard so many good things about Avenue Q, but confess I haven't yet seen it. Hoping to go later on this summer - my family are hooked on Wicked so it's not easy persuading them to go to see anything else at the moment! www.sweeneytoddforum.org.uk

I've now got around to getting tickets for Avenue Q and I'm going August 22nd. Oh no! Due to a family commitment I was unable to go on August 22nd. BUT - good news! I'm going to New York in December with my family and we've booked seats (orchestra row H) for Avenue Q. Been to the States a few times, but never to NY so I can't wait. We're also seeing Wicked, Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, Les Mis and the Wicked backstage tour. Oh, and I intend going to see the Sweeney Todd movie before it comes out over here as well. And we're staying at the Wellington hotel (featured in Borat)! **Leaps up and down in excitement, in a most undignified manner for a 48 yr-old** www.sweeneytoddforum.org.uk

At last I got to see Avenue Q on Broadway last week. And I can say it was worth the wait! I loved it - it was funny, rude, thought-provoking, clever, profound, colourful, tuneful - I could go on but would run out of superlatives too soon. I bought the CD and the songbook - now all i need are the puppets! By the way, is the London version much different from the American one?
