Thank God for international tours! The worst thing about living in a country such as Sweden is that I can't just take a day of and go see a show. Since I'm a student I don't have that kind of money to fly to London every other week. Sure I could go see shows here in Sweden but often I feel like the translations, well, suck. On May 15th I'm going to the premiere of Sweeney Todd in Gothenburgh, Sweden, and this summer I get to see Mamma Mia! also in Gothenburgh, Sweden. All with actors from the West End. Random post I know, but I'm happy. ^__^

My friend doesn't live far from there and she is thinking about those shows at the moment. Sweeney Todd is looking good with Paul Spicer as Toby.

I'd love to hear Paul Spicer as Toby.. he'd be really good! Though.. you know.. completely scary when he goes insane.

A little off topic on tours but on topic of Sweeney Todd. I'd love to have seen Jon (Robyns) as Sweeney, the more I think about it the more I'd like to see it. He's such a nice, smilie, happy sort of guy that I find him being a through cutting barber very hard to imagine!

Jon as Sweeney would be.. interesting. No but perhaps beneath Jon's smiling surface there is a murderer just dying to cut some throats. I would love to see that! (on stage, not Jon going mad on the streets of London)

.....Great. Now I can't look at Jon without getting worried that there's a razor in the room somewhere... Oh, and ON the topic of Sweeney Todd! Me and Abbie are writing a Torchwood meets Sweeney fic! We've only got 2 chapters so far, but it's gooood!! (Well, Abbie's part is... mine isn't that fantastic.) ANYWAY. YES. INTERNATIONAL TOURS. YES....erm..........................Mary Poppins is apparently internationally touring.....

That sound cool (the fic)!
I'm looking forward to be seeing Paul Spicer as Toby. I've heard him sing on Julie's (Atherton) record, and I've heard some other recordings of him. But I've never actually seen him perform. So that's gonna be great!
And another thing, I would love to meet the cast and get photos and autographs after the show. I had no problem doing it in London, though I was a bit shy. But here in Sweden I've never heard of anyone whose gone stage dooring. You just don't do that here, and i don't know why 'cause I love stage dooring. I guess I'll drag my friends along with me anyways to find the stage door (which will be a bit hard since there are no signs telling you "this way to stage door" like there is in London).
YES, back to international tours, yeah... so, Mary Popping, huh?
