Just... cause you know you want a place to shamlessly plug your own stuff, wether it be your own fanwebsite you made yourself, a cure for cancer you made, or even a show you're in!
Or maybe you just want to brag about your awesomeness..
Okay, I'll start us off....
I'M GONNA WORK IN THE LIVERPOOL EMPIRE OVER THE SUMMER!!! Backstage! In a production of the Wiz!! *is all excited* Yay for student productions!!! If any of you happen to be around Liverpool on the 14th, 15th or 16th of August, or happen to have friends/family around Liverpool at that time, come in and see us! We'll be AWESOME. (Oh, and if you could pretty please quote the word 'grey' if you book tickets. No, I don't have a fetish for Jack Harkness' little brother, there's a competition, and whichever colour group sells the most tickets wins a VIP tour or... something... well... we win SOMETHING, anyway.) Thanks! Oh, and PS! I'll be the awesome ninja techie. Running around like a looney backstage 'WHAT'S A GEL? WTH ARE GOBOS? AAAH! WHAT ARE ALL THESE NUMBERS? WHY ISN'T THE GAUZE WORKING??'
(Abbie, as I know you're reading this- Gels make the lights different colours, and are identified by Numbers, and Gobos make the lights snazzy and textured. SEE! I'M DOING MY THEATRE REVISION!!)
.....which reminds me. Drama coursework needs doing. Fun. I blame Abbie, and her evil 'starting the salem witch trials so she can sleep with a married crazy hobo man' ways.

Gosh I realised today that I haven't actually been on here in ages. Emi good luck with your production of The Wiz. I was once in a production of that (many years ago when I was still at school). My plug (well kind of) is that I'm a songwriter so you can check out songs that I have written at www.myspace.com/daniellaleanne Also by brother is a songwriter and his songs can be found at www.myspace.com/richardchaso I run his myspace page for him.

Ok - a plug.
I work at Shakespeare's Globe on Bankside and urge you all to catch a show over the summer - it only costs a fiver to stand and is hugely fun! King Lear is brilliant (ugh hello favourite play ever...joint with Hamlet) and A Midsummer Night's Dream is gorgeous.
Timon Of Athens and Merry Wives Of Windsor open soon, and two new plays The Frontline and Liberty open next month.
It's always good fun and good, cheap theatre. So please try and catch a show. Season's open till October.

Oh, I love Shakespeare. I just want to blugeon my class to death with our script when we try and read through it in English or Drama.... Really... Anyway, if I could, I would be at The Globe loads! (I'd be the loser shouting EXPELLIAMUS!' and... other Doctor Who stuff.... while quoting Shakespeare. ^^) But... you know... small problem of distance.

Oooo, Midsummer! I love that play! I played Bottom in our college production a few years ago. It was a largely female cast and there was a weirdly large debate about how to make me look more manly.

My Mum works at a construction thing... doing admin stuff, and her company does work at the Royal Opera House... so she was talking to her boss about me, and how I was on Work Experience (I'm meant to be doing Admin stuff today..... urgh. Fun!! /sarcasm.) and My mum's boss was like: 'Why don't you take her to the Royal Opera house? I mean, we've got access to it 24/7... Take her round backstage!)
soo..... I'm gonna have a busy Summer!! Julie's show for the beginning, then Wicked, then the Royal Opera House sometime... and then the Wiz!!! ^^ *is excited*

Wow, that's cool! Lets see.. bragging stuff..
My high school is going to be i believe the first on the east side of the US to perform "RENT: School Edition" which is beasically Rent but without the song 'Contact' and some of the language is changed.. I'll probably get the role of Maureen since my thater teachers know that I know all of her songs she's in, including the moves for "Over The Moon"..
OH, and my teachers know Dave Benoit, the guy who's playing Nicky/Trekkie/Blue Bear in the US Avenue Q tour.. I think he was also part of Vegas, but as the understudy or something like that..
I guess that's it.. my life isn't that special, lol..

Wooohooo! I've just found I've got a merit in Performing Arts National Diploma! I was told a few weeks ago I was going to fail but out of the blue this afternoon my tutor told me I've got a merit! Apparently I'm also top of my year on the theatrical make up assignment! That means I'm higher than one of the snootiest girls I've ever met you thinks she amazing at make up. Wooo!

Brief plug...
I GOT MY FIRST PROFESSIONAL STAGE MANAGEMENT JOB! *ahem*
Anywho. I'm Technical Stage Managing two shows at the Trafalgar Studios in London between July & August.
1 is an improvised kids show called Professor Bumm's Story Machine (more suited for ickle kiddies) and 2 is called I, Lear which is a condensed history of British Theatre (and is absolutely hillarious)
So if you can come along, please do. We open on July 21st and close on August 16th.
I thank yooooooooooooou!

Ok more shameless plugging (sorry) I'm going on tour with a play called Liberty which has been playing at the Globe over the summer. You can find more details on the Globe website: www.shakespeares-globe.orgWhen I get back from tour I go into rehearsals for the world premiere of The Scarecrow And His Servant; an adaptation of the Philip Pullman book of the same name. It runs at the Southwark Playhouse from December 10th to the 10th of January.

I've just had my first professional theatrical make up offer! It's not my first job but it's the first one where someone's found me and asked me to do it without me applying or asking around. I'm very proud that word of mouth has spread!
