Daniel knows some Swedish!

This was absolutely hilarious! It was at Stage Door on June 21st, after the show.

(he had just gotten a gift bag from some other fans)
Me: I haven't got a gift but could I get an autograph anyways?
Daniel: No, I only do it for gifts. *starts signing programme*
Me: But I did give a Swedish 20-kronor in the hat scene.
Daniel: Are you from Sweden?
We (me and Veronica): Yes.
Daniel: I know some Swedish.. but I think it's very rude.
Me: I wanna hear it!
Daniel: *says something I can't quite catch*
Me: Again?
Daniel: *repeats* Is is Swedish?
Me: I just need to get what you're saying.
Daniel: *shy* I'm probably saying it wrong..
Me: No, no. Don't worry. I'm not expecting you to be able to speak Swedish.
Daniel: *smiles* I think it's supposed to mean "Let's get drunk".

It took us a while but eventually we understood what he was trying to say:
Skål för fan, nu super vi!

which translates to [and excuse me for saying this] "Cheers for fuck sake, let's drink"
And I also have to say that it sounds a lot more rude in English than it does in Swedish.

that's really funny! Especially since I have no idea how to pronounce it in swedish, since all the squigglies and dots get me confused..

I thought that was you but I wasn't sure then.
But the gift was so sweet of you. He seemed really happy for it. What exactly did you give him? I couldn't quite see it.

We got him one gift each (there were 4 of us). The Avenue Q book, a windchime, a bag of jelly babies and I drew a picture because I am a poor student with no money.
