Avenue Q has been on broadway for five years today! according to playbill.com, past cast members (including some of the original cast) are scheduled to be there tonight. There's also a picture of Rod with a giant cake (which i believe they do every year, just with another puppet) in the article!
"Avenue Q" has also recently gotten up to 2,000 performances on June 3 (or july 3..). They've been on broadway longer than "South Pacific" and "Pippin"!
