Thought I'd start this thread up because I love this part of the show!

Just wondering if any has put/knows of anything funny or unusual in the hats?

And does anyone know what's done with the money that audience members put in them? Charity?

When I saw it in New York everyone put money in the hats and passed them around. Here everyone seems a bit more boring and refuses to pass the hat. I think the money goes to charity.

As I wrote in the other thread, I put a message for Clare in the hat last time I went. Next time, I might put a drawing that a friend of mine has made!
Another friend had written her phone number and addressed it to Nicky, LOL, but the hat didn't pass by her so she kept it. Next time, she is trying lacy underwear
